http://podzamcze-dobczyce.pl/index.php/restauracja/assets/assets/js/assets/css/flexslider.css Saadani National Park is one of the smaller and less well known parks, covering ‘just’ 1150 sqkm on the Swahili Coast, about an hour’s drive south of the Tides Lodge. It has the distinction of being the only coastal wildlife sanctuary in eastern Africa, making for a unique safari experience – combining bush, river and beach. It is known as the birdwatchers’ paradise, but is also home to a ‘variety of animals including elephants, giraffes and lions. Boating up the Wamu river you will pass pods of hippos and crocodiles basking in the sun, whilst pristine sandy beaches stretch north and south to the horizon. This is a full day experience, with an early start.
